Doctor visits and specialist appointments are billed to OHIP — not to you. Your membership covers the access, coordination, and Navigator service that OHIP doesn't pay for. The referral can come from a Careby physician or your existing family doctor. No fixed limit per day or per year. Members book Doctor On-Call visits as needed; Specialist Express referrals, imaging coordination, and other coordinator services are unlimited. Doctor On-Call visits require you to be physically in a covered Canadian province at the time of the appointment, so we can't provide medical care while you're traveling abroad.
