A small contactless sensor — usually in the bedroom, and optionally a second room — reads movement: a fall, a change in routine, unusual inactivity. There are no cameras and no microphones; it senses motion only, never images or sound. The system needs power and connectivity to send alerts in real time. If either goes out for an extended period, alerts can't be sent until service is restored. SafeHome uses the same class of contactless sensing technology now used across senior-care and home-health settings in North America. It detects falls and changes in activity, and learns your parent's normal routine over the first two weeks, so it flags real deviations rather than every movement. Alerts go to your Careby coordinator first. They review what triggered the alert, check on your parent (call, video, or send someone), and then contact you with what's happening — by phone, text, or email, whichever you've chosen.
