Your consent
Care for you or someone in your household
In-Home Care is often purchased on behalf of a family member โ a parent, spouse, or other household member. Information about the household environment, care needs, and any monitoring data is held by Careby and shared with assigned caregivers and monitoring providers as needed to deliver safe care. Family member alerts are only sent with explicit prior authorization.
If you're purchasing for someone else: we'll also obtain direct consent from the person receiving care during the in-home intake. Where the recipient has reduced capacity to consent, we work with their legal substitute decision-maker (e.g., Power of Attorney for Personal Care).
